Without your description I will have a hard time in understanding the shot. I don’t think that it carries any photographic significance. But, as a documentation it’s quite OK.

@AndrewSeymour Hey Andrew, Photoshelter does do offer some fantastic SEO information. I haven’t looked very close to compare which of the two services are more customization. You are at the mercy of whatever product you use, so research is important.

I too have heard that having a domain registered a long ways out in the future is good for SEO, but there really is no way to prove that. I’d take that tip with a grain of salt.

You know how many years it took me find all that info! I’ve also read, that the numbers of years the domain has been registered also increases your ranking… Not sure if you have seen this, but… The SEO features on PhotoShealter to be better than SmugMug, and using a self-hosted WordPress allows for EASY URL renaming….

Well, I do commend you for putting yourself out there and wish you the best of luck. As much as I want to jump head first in to the industry, I do not think I am ready quite yet. I do make money with my photography, but not enough to justify a career switch right now. Also, I see myself improving almost monthly. Anyways, I enjoyed reading this post and think this image is fantastic
