A Chico Wedding Film | Lakeside Pavilion

In typical summer in Norcal fashion, it was a warm day but beautiful day at the Lakeside Pavilion. A little oasis of shady green trees along California Park Lake. It was a beautiful wedding marked by a lot of love and family support. The highlights for me were all the non-traditional events that happened. For their toast, Emily’s sisters wrote a parody medley and (poorly 😂) sang a duet. Colin broke it down with his mom. Instead of a classic waltz, they showed their skills on everything from Gangnam Style to Stayin’ Alive. Further Colin, and all the groomsmen, danced an ensemble for Emily that would put Nsync to shame.

The bulk of the film was shot on the Nikon Z6 with the kit 24-70 f/4 lens. I used a combination of handheld shooting and stabilized the rest with the Moza Air2 gimbal. Let me know if you have any techincal filmmaking questions.
