I love my adventurous couples. Not that there’s anything wrong with public parks, but sometimes they start to get repetitive and a change of scenery can really stimulate my creativity. So when Joleen said they’d like to shoot in the snow up in the mountains, I perked right up.
A major storm forced us to reschedule our first session. On the second attempt we made it up to the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center at the south entrance to Lassen National Park. The snow was at least 10 feet deep! Luckily it wasn’t too much work to move around on the paths others had worn in. It was lightly snowing and the mood was romantic.
